Beautiful park with great climbing spots. The rock formations are absolutely gorgeous and it makes me so happy that I live so close to this wonderful park.
This place is awesome. A lot of trails, pet friendly. Great for family picnics
An expansive park with many interesting features! I’m still working on walking every bit of trail in this park, so I’m sure there’s still much to explore, but highlights include the Indian Caves, the Chimney, and the waterfront, as well as miles and miles of views! There are multiple pavilions and charcoal grills throughout the park which make Chatfield Hollow ideal for picnics, parties, and outings. Do know this is a paid park during the summer, but there are swim spots, so very well worth it on a hot day. Trail maps are sometimes available at the park, but you’d be better off printing one off the State Park website beforehand or snapping a picture of a map board on your phone.
This is a beautiful public park. They have swimming and it is very well maintained. People love to walk dogs at this park.
